My Fallout: New Vegas review is in the editing process and should be up at ResetGames.com before too long; in the meantime, look what I found!
The Pip-Boy 3000 was an essential piece of equipment in Fallout 3, and its significance doesn't diminish in New Vegas. Imagine my surprise when I finished the Gomorrah casino quest during my second playthrough and was handed the Pimp-Boy 3 Billion, a blingin', golden, pimped out version of the Pip-Boy. I even heard disco music the first time I donned the gadget, probably because I chose the Wild Wasteland Trait at the beginning of the game.
Fallout: New Vegas has many self-aware in-jokes to find around the massive Mojave Wasteland, especially with Wild Wasteland enabled. Thus far, this one just might be my personal favorite.
